I was also able to figure how to do the same thing with Paint Shop Pro X and got the same good results. For some reason beyond me, Epson recently with the R and R reverted back to their old practice of including ICC profiles only with the Mac drivers. I installed and used those for the R, and the printing is lighter but not spot on.


Our Verdict The R may boast an array of printing functions, but none of them perform very well. The answer is probably to get a custom profile made.
